Regarding the unification of the Joint List, he said: "We are probably on the way, trying. There are agreements and there are some differences of opinion. The pace is a little slower with us than with Bennett and Lapid, but the four parties announced and also signed the Sakhnin document, in which they agree to establish a joint list. There are arguments about a few points here and there. Bennett and Lapid have been more successful than us in focusing on what is more important than what is trivial, and I say that as self-criticism.".
According to him, there are, "debates about a point here, a definition there, a campaign here, a campaign there. What is important is that a joint list be established that will obtain between 15 and 17 seats. This is the safest, most certain, most effective tool to remove the Netanyahu-Smotrich-Ben Gvir government.".
He reminded the opposition leaders who refuse to sit with the Arab parties: "Without the Arabs, it is impossible to replace this government, even the racists in the center know this. Without the Arabs, it is impossible to change reality, and we want to contribute our part because it is in our interest first and foremost.".
