A violent incident occurred on Shabbat night in Beit Shemesh when the ultra-Orthodox soldier Yosef Rosberger, who serves in the Hasmonaean Brigade, was violently attacked by dozens of extremists who came to his apartment.

Journalist Yoel Brim from Channel 13 cited testimonies on his X account that said the attackers threatened the soldier: "We will burn your house with the children.".

His friends from the synagogue, who came to the scene to protect him, were also attacked - and one of them lost two front teeth during the extremists' attack.

The incident lasted for many minutes, as the attackers threatened the Haredi soldier that they would return to the scene and that he would not be able to continue living in the neighborhood.

The soldier filed a complaint with the Beit Shemesh police.

He said the incident joins a series of violent incidents in ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods, where extremist groups try to impose their will through violence. "This is a group that doesn't belong here," residents said.

At this time, there are no arrests in the case.
