Judea and Samaria Border Guard fighters worked together with IDF forces, under precise intelligence guidance from the Shin Bet, in the village of Beit Umar in Gush Etzion, to arrest a terrorist who participated in detonating explosives and rocket-propelled grenades toward the nearby settlement of Carmei Tzur.

The forces entered the village area and arrested the terrorist.

During the arrest, the assassin admitted that weapons were hidden in a hiding place in a school in the village - and expressed a desire to surrender them.

The forces arrived at the location where the weapons were hidden in the school, and after searching and scanning, numerous weapons were seized.

Among other things, the cache contained: an improvised long weapon, 9 improvised explosive devices, a slingshot, a face mask, military boots, a set of military uniforms, military gloves, a military helmet, a fire extinguisher, a box of bulk explosives, a knife, a used stun grenade, and additional equipment.

All weapons were seized, and the suspect was transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation.
