The chairman of the Reservists Party, Yoaz Hendel, accused in a closed conversation that Gadi Eisenkot and his men "tried to eliminate me politically" while he was serving in the reserves - and was prevented from responding.
According to a report this morning (Thursday) by Dikla Aharon Shafran on Channel 2, Hendel said at a closed activist conference that he was "disgusted with Eisenkot" and that Ronen Manelis, who works with him, "briefed the whole world and his wife that I am Netanyahu's proxy.".
Hendel also accused Yisrael Beytenu chairman, MK Avigdor Lieberman, of blatantly lying and also said that "Hendel is Netanyahu's proxy.".
The chairman of the Milyomanikim added that the opposition bloc "is not concerned with offering an alternative, but rather with attacking each other" and that because they feel that Handel is a "bone in the throat," they are trying to eliminate him "but it's not working for them.".
Handel said at the closed conference: "This bloc always brings a bad result.".
Hendel is also heard saying in the recording that "there will be a kamikaze attack on the conscription law" and that he will not be willing to make a deal with the Haredi or Arab parties.
Former Minister Hendel announced in September 2025 the establishment of the Miloaminikim Party.
