Police officers from the Glilot station in the Yarkon region and police saboteurs dealt with an item of weapons that was found in an open area near Ramat Hasharon this afternoon (Wednesday) - apparently from the days of the "Roar of the Lion" fighting.
The saboteurs arrived at the scene after the police hotline received a call from citizens walking in the area, regarding an item of weaponry that was located in an open area.
Upon receiving the report, police officers from the Glilot station in the Yarkon region were dispatched along with police sappers from the Tel Aviv District, who are handling the item at the scene, with no injuries and no danger posed by the item.
""The police call on the public to be vigilant and avoid contact with firearms. In any case of detecting a suspicious item, it should be reported to the Israel Police hotline 100 immediately.".
