Composer-lyricist Shmuel Yona is considered one of the most prolific and unique writers and composers in Jewish music, as someone who has written quite a few hits that have become household names, such as "Yitgadel and Yitkadesh," "Malahim," "Pisgat Ha'olam," and more.
He recently moved to the forefront as a singer-songwriter with a unique and refreshing presentation with his debut album.
Singer and composer Gil Israelov, who has an exciting and unique vocal range, often appears at weddings and happy and moving ceremonies, and is a member of the Jewish Poetry Council and the Friends choir. He has recently completed over two years of work on his debut album [from which four singles have been released so far that have been very successful], in which the best of the best, including Shmuel Yona, take part.
As part of the collaboration between the two on Israelov's debut album, a courageous personal and musical connection was created, which gave rise to an interactive performance with the participation of the audience, merging the two's different musical worlds and creating Jewish music with a world music flavor.
From and in preparation for the launch of the show, the song "Narrow Bridge" is released - written and composed by Yona and released about fifteen years ago, and originally performed by Haim Israel. Now it takes on a new touch and dimension, thanks to the simple and beautiful presentation and the minimalist arrangement that Yona himself entrusted.
