A legal assistant at the Lod District Court participated in a left-wing protest last week - and during the event she held a sign that read: "Death by hanging? Ben Gvir first.".

Following the incident, the police opened an investigation into the incitement team at the VIP.

According to a report on Channel 14, the opinion formulated by the professional team determined that a criminal investigation should be opened against the protester for the sign she waved - as it amounts to incitement.

The police's recommendation to open an investigation was forwarded to the prosecutor's office for review. However, despite the police's firm position that this was an act that warranted an investigation, the prosecutor's office refused to approve the move.

In response to the police recommendation, the prosecution argued that this was not incitement - and therefore there was no reason to open an investigation against the legal assistant.
