Brigadier General (res.) Daniel Hegary, who served as IDF spokesman throughout most of the 'Iron Swords' war, this morning (Wednesday) put an end to rumors about his future.
Hegry made it clear unequivocally that he has no intention of entering political life, thus ending a wave of speculation that has swept the political system in the past 24 hours.
Gerry's announcement comes after a report that he is in advanced talks with the 'Yashar!' party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, in order to include him at the top of the list ahead of the upcoming elections.
The 'Yashar!' party also rushed to deny the reports and stated that no such contacts had taken place between the parties.
