Last night, the IDF attacked numerous infrastructures of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the village of Adashit in southern Lebanon, after increased activity by the Hezbollah terrorist organization was recently detected in the village.
Since the beginning of Operation "Raven's Roar," the terrorist organization Hezbollah has launched approximately 130 rockets from the village toward IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon and toward the State of Israel, in particular toward Kiryat Shmona.
The IDF attacked many infrastructures in the village with the aim of damaging the establishment and capabilities of the organization's terrorists in the village. Among the infrastructures attacked were: weapons depots, launchers, and headquarters of the terrorist organization Hezbollah. The attacks eliminated terrorists from the organization who were promoting numerous terrorist plots against the State of Israel.
The IDF says that the terrorist organization Hezbollah is establishing itself in civilian areas and systematically placing terrorist infrastructure in villages, putting Lebanese residents at risk.
At the same time, the Commander of the Northern Command, Major General Rafi Milo, conducted a situation assessment in southern Lebanon together with the Commander of the 98th Division, Brigadier General Guy Levy, and the Commander of the Paratrooper Brigade, Colonel R.
The Northern Command commander said: "In recent days, we have completed the encirclement of the area and launched an attack on Bint Jbeil. This is a significant operational move. At the same time, the forces are operating throughout the security area to destroy the enemy's terrorist infrastructure, while integrating a continuous offensive effort. We will continue to act with determination to eliminate the threats and ensure the security of the residents of the north."
