Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today (Friday) in a situation assessment at the Kirya in Tel Aviv that Israel is acting in full coordination with United States President Donald Trump and the US military - and that activity against Iran will continue.
He said, "In full coordination with President Trump and the US military, we will continue to crush the terrorist regime in Iran.".
Netanyahu added: "Together with our American friends, we continue to crush the terrorist regime in Iran. We are eliminating commanders, bombing bridges, bombing infrastructure.".
According to him, in recent days the Air Force has destroyed a significant portion of Iran's production capabilities, "The Air Force destroyed 70% of Iran's steel production capacity. This is a tremendous achievement that deprives the Revolutionary Guards of both financial resources and the ability to produce many weapons.".
He emphasized: "In full coordination between me and President Trump, between the IDF and the United States military, we will continue to crush Iran. This regime is weaker than ever - Israel is stronger than ever.".
Referring to the northern arena, Netanyahu noted that the fighting in Lebanon continues. "In Lebanon, we continue to hit Hezbollah in the shin. We continue to expand the security zone and consolidate it in order to protect the northern communities.".
Netanyahu addressed the citizens of Israel: "I would like to congratulate you, citizens of Israel, for standing firm and following the Home Front Command's instructions, even on Seder night. Continue to do so. Continue to stand firm. With God's help, we will continue to fight and achieve all our goals. Time for joy.".
