In preparation for Passover, a chametz sale was held at the Carrefour chain headquarters with the participation of the rabbis of the Badatz Eda Haredi, as part of the chain's comprehensive preparations for the public's needs in preparation for the holiday.
During the event, the chain's CEO, Michael Loboshitz, emphasized: "Ahead of Passover, every consumer who enters Carrefour will receive the most affordable and high-quality basket in Israel.".
This year, Carrefour is presenting a combination of strict halachic standards and a broad price reduction campaign, with a series of deep promotions on key products for the holiday table. The Passover season, considered the peak of annual consumption, brings with it high expenses for households – and the chain is seeking to respond to this with thousands of significant promotions and discounts.
The meat and poultry department was at the center of the preparations, with one of the most outstanding deals on the market: fresh chicken thighs for 2 kg for only 40 shekels, an offer that allowed families to prepare for holiday meals at a particularly affordable cost. The fish department also presented attractive prices, including frozen salmon fillet 100% Fish from "Tnuva Fish" for 59.90 NIS per kg, alongside frozen skinless tilapia fillet from "Baldi" on sale for 2 kg for only 30 NIS. In addition, home-style gefilte fish cutlets from "Heimish Fish" are offered for 8.90 NIS per unit.
The combination of connection to the community, maintaining strict Halacha, and a wide range of quality products at competitive prices, positions Carrefour as a central address for Passover shopping - with an emphasis on kosher, quality, and savings for the Israeli family.
