Local government services will be able to resume school classes this Sunday starting at 6:00 AM, after the Home Front Command gave approval this evening (Thursday).
According to the announcement, several areas will move from a limited activity rating to a partial activity rating.
The new areas where studies will be allowed near the standard extended shelter next week are:
- Southern Golan (except Katzrin and Kedmat Zvi)
- Bottom roller
- Carmel (except Dalit al-Carmel and Asfiya)
- Wadi Ara
- Menashe (except Or Akiva, Hadera, Jisr a-Zarqa and some of the settlements of Moaz Hof Carmel)
- Judean Plain (except Beit Shemesh)
- Lachish (except Ashdod, Gan Yavne, Yavne, Gedera, some of the settlements of the Gan Raveh settlement that belong to this area, some of the settlements of the Brenner settlement that belong to this area, all of the settlements of the Gederot settlement and the settlements of Beit Gamliel, Ben Zakkai and Tzofia of the Hevel Yavne settlement)
- Central Negev (except Beer Sheva and Omer)
Details of the guidelines in these areas:
- Educational activities: Educational activities can be held in a place from which it is possible to reach a standard protected space during the defense.
- Gathering - in an open area up to 50 people, and in a building up to 100 people in a place from which it is possible to reach a standard protected space during the defense.
- Workplaces - Activities can be carried out in a place from which a standard protected space can be reached during the defense period.
The rest of the country remains unchanged.
The policy will be in effect until Monday, March 23 at 8:00 p.m.
