Meanwhile in Gaza: IDF and Shin Bet forces attacked and killed Muhammad Abu Shahla, the commander of military intelligence for the Hamas terrorist organization in the Khan Yunis Brigade, yesterday (Wednesday).
Shahla served as the intelligence officer for the brigade's senior officers during the war and took part in planning the October 7 massacre in the Khan Yunis brigade.
Additionally, Shahla has recently been working, in violation of the ceasefire agreement, to restore the organization's capabilities in the Gaza Strip, and planned to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip and the State of Israel.
The terrorist was attacked precisely in order to remove an immediate threat to IDF forces.
Prior to the attack, steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precision weapons, aerial observations, and additional intelligence information.
