What is the gap between the tallest man in the world and the shortest man in the world? Guinness World Records is celebrating its 60th anniversary - and has decided to bring together the two people who can definitely be congratulated as "Blessed is the change of mankind.".

Sultan Kosun, 31, is the tallest man in the world today. He stands 2.51 meters tall. Tsandra Bahadur Dangi, 74, is only 54.6 centimeters tall.

Kusun has held the title of 'tallest man in the world' since 2011, when he 'took' it from 63-year-old Max Xun from China, who stood at a tiny height of 2.45 meters.

The two met as part of a series of 'World Record' events organized by Guinness World Records in preparation for 2015. They were photographed against the backdrop of the British Parliament.
