In recent months, the police have been examining evidence against an official in the Prime Minister's Office, following allegations of inappropriate behavior.
According to a report this morning (Monday) on Channel B, the police opened an investigation following information received about alleged inappropriate conduct by the same official in the Prime Minister's Office, in a meeting with a woman that took place at a hotel.
Police investigators contacted the woman who made the allegations against the person, and even met with her to have her file a formal complaint. However, for now, the woman refuses to file a complaint.
Due to the woman's refusal to file a complaint, the investigation is not expected to progress, and the case may be closed later.
Details of the affair were under a gag order that was lifted last night at midnight. The allegations against the official in the Prime Minister's Office were first published in Kan News early last month.
