The IDF said that despite the attempt to shoot down the plane, "the mission was successfully completed." It was also stated that "the incident will be investigated and lessons learned.".
Despite the damage to the military capabilities of the regime in Tehran, since the beginning of the war there have been numerous attempts to shoot down Israeli fighter jets in Iranian skies.
""The air crews dealt with the threat successfully," the army said. "The Air Force will continue to fly and attack wherever necessary, including in Iranian skies under threat, and will complete its missions in every operational sortie.".
