A heated confrontation took place today (Wednesday) in the Finance Committee between MK Iman Khatib-Yassin of the Ra'am party and MK Zvi Sukkot of the Religious Zionist party.
During the debate, MK Khatib-Yassin complained: "He called me impudent.".
Sukkot replied: "Of course I'll call you impudent, you said we don't pay taxes.".
Khatib-Yassin later slammed him: "You are impudent and retarded, without sense.".
Sukkot attacked back: "You denied the massacre, you support Hamas, you are a terrorist. A terrorist is what you are.".
He later added: "Not once did you condemn a massacre of children, you said it didn't happen at all, you brazen one. Am I a terrorist? You brought the terror! Because of you, there are attacks.".

One of the Knesset guards stood between the two, who were sitting side by side, in an attempt to calm things down.
From the other side of the table, MK Ahmed Tibi intervened, shouting at Sukkot: "The sole of her shoe, you idiot! Don't call her a terrorist. Your hands are covered in blood, you idiot!""
Samir Ben Said joined the confrontation and told Sukkot: "You support the Hill Boys.".
Khatib-Yassin later added: "You are hollow, empty.".
The committee chairman tried to restore order in the hall, but the discussion continued in a tense atmosphere.
