Retired Supreme Court President Aharon Barak arrived today (Tuesday) for a conference on splitting the position of Legal Advisor to the Government - accompanied by security.
According to a report in Kan News, the security guards were hired by the Bar Association out of fear of an incident similar to the one in which right-wing activist Mordechai David blocked Barak's car.
Barak refused to answer questions about Mordechai David: "I will not comment on that, I am not a Jew who takes advantage of opportunities. When I find the right moment and place, I will say the right thing.".
Mordechai David and other right-wing activists blocked Aharon Barak's car last week as he was leaving a conference of the Movement for Quality Government at the Expo complex in Tel Aviv.
In videos from the event, David can be heard calling Barak: "A zero, a dictator, a Khamenei of our generation.".
