Shas faction chairman, MK Yinon Azoulay, thanked the Knesset plenum today (Monday) for the Coordinator of the Prisoners of War and Missing Persons, Brigadier General (res.) Gal Hirsch, for his work toward the return of the kidnapped.
Against the backdrop of the vicious attacks on Hirsch, Azoulay came to his defense and attacked the attacks on him.
"This man gave his whole soul, his home, and even his health for the sake of the return of the kidnapped," said the Shas MK. "There are people who, instead of thanking him, come out against him and spit in his face. Why? Because he told the truth.".
Azoulay testified: "I sat with him in the Intelligence Subcommittee hearings, I saw his commitment and courage. So I want to tell you, Gal Hirsch - thank you!""
