The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment today (Sunday) in the Beer Sheva District Court against a 56-year-old Ashdod resident who committed serious crimes against his daughters starting when they were 6 years old.

The indictment filed by Attorney Shlomit Malko of the Southern District Attorney's Office indicates that, starting in 2002 and for about ten years, the defendant B. committed serious crimes against his 6-year-old daughter - born in 1996.

Starting in 2012, when his daughter A. turned 6, he began committing serious crimes against her as well, which lasted for about eight years.

The description of the charges in the indictment shows how he repeatedly harmed his daughters.

Also, during this period, the defendant used to beat A. and unlawfully assault her by slapping her in the face, pushing her, and hitting her on the head.

During the year 2024, he asked A. not to contact the police so that his life would not be ruined.

The defendant was charged with committing serious acts in the family, aggravated assault, and obstruction of justice.

A request for detention was simultaneously filed against the defendant until the end of the proceedings.

The case was investigated by the Kiryat Gat Police Station.
