Two years of longing: This week, a memorial service was held with fireworks for the Hero of Israel, Yitzhak, Captain Neriah Zisk.
Near the grave plot in the military section, Brigadier General Benny Aharon, who was in the 401st Brigade during the war, spoke. Afterwards, everyone gathered in the community's event hall.
On this moving and special evening, speakers included Rabbi Meir Nahorai - the rabbi of the village, Adir Naaman - the head of the Shafir council, Atara Reda - Neriah's sister by name, Dolev Sahar - a childhood friend, Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Ella - who was in the 52nd Battalion during the war, and Omer Barel from the tank crew.

The family: "We are very grateful to all the many participants, all the speakers and everyone who helped organize the evening. May we meet again, God willing, in joy.".
