Crime in Bnei Brak: In a proactive operational activity by police officers and inspectors of the Bnei Brak Municipal Policing Unit, last night (Thursday) the police officers noticed a scooter and a suspect on Herzog Street in Bnei Brak - and smelled a substance suspected of being a drug.
The police conducted a search and seized 176 grams of 'Nice Guy' substances and 15 grams of cannabis from the suspect, a 15-year-old boy.
The investigation revealed that the scooter in the suspect's possession was stolen about a week ago from Bnei Brak, and that an online complaint was filed at the beginning of the week - and an investigation was opened.
The boy was detained for questioning at the police station, after which he was released under restrictive conditions to house arrest.
The investigation continues.
This morning, the municipal police commander, Inspector Elad Amoyel, met with the owner of the scooter and returned the scooter to him.
