
An antisemitic incident occurred this evening (Sunday) in Istanbul, Turkey, when pro-Palestinian protesters attacked Jews who were on their way to light Hanukkah candles.

The documentation published on social media indicates that the Turkish crowd gathered around the group that made its way to the candle-lighting event at the synagogue, waved Palestinian flags and shouted slogans at them - such as "I don't want Zionists in my country", along with other anti-Semitic slogans.
Police forces prevented the crowd from coming into contact with the group of Jews.
