Attorney Haim Bleicher of Mehonu wrote a letter to the Northern District Police demanding the arrest of two Arabs who attacked an ultra-Orthodox man about a year ago at a convenience store at a gas station near Yokneam - in front of his young daughter, after they tried to overtake him in line at the checkout.

The Arabs beat the Jew all over his body and fled the scene.
Despite the attack being recorded on the gas station's cameras, the attackers have not yet been arrested.
In his letter, Attorney Bleicher describes the difficult incident: "My client arrived at the gas station to fill up, and entered the store with his little daughter, in order to buy her candy. While he was standing in line, two members of minorities arrived and tried to pay in front of him without waiting their turn, but the cashier did not allow this.
""In response, they went outside, and after a short moment they returned with one of them holding a glass bottle. The suspects approached my client and his daughter, and began cursing and threatening him, while making false accusations and mentioning the words "Yahud," and then began attacking him with severe blows. One of them punched him in the head, and both of them beat him all over his body. As a result of the attack, my client suffered swelling and signs of bruising to his head.".
Attorney Bleicher tells Haredim 10: "This is a real phenomenon. A brutal, anti-Semitic attack on Jews by Arab rioters, but only because the Jew refused their request or did not look good to them. The attacks are carried out even when it comes to a father holding his infant daughter in his arms.
""Terrorism has no limits of cruelty. Such an attack is terrorism in every sense of the word, and we expect the attackers to be brought to justice for a nationalistically motivated attack and to be kept behind bars for many years.".
