Judge Moshe Bar-Am, the panel judge in the "Trial of the Thousands," lost his patience today (Wednesday) during Netanyahu's testimony - towards prosecutor Yehudit Tirosh.
This was after the prosecutor repeatedly asked the Prime Minister whether he or his spokesmen had requested to take down or upload articles on the Walla website during the election period: "We've exhausted this matter, let's move forward. Let's not do this anymore!"'
Before the judge's outburst, Netanyahu had already replied to Tirosh that there were "very specific" and rare things that interested him: "It was the dorms, Meni Naftali, elections. I already said there were times I spoke to him. You're discussing a soup recipe that has already grown mold. What are we talking about here? There was nothing here. No control over the site. Once I 'shot' him (Balovich) about Dov Gilhar.".
The confrontation in the hall was not over.
Minutes later, another argument broke out, this time between attorney Amit Haddad and Tirosh. Haddad protested that she had interrupted him while he was filing an objection: "Why are you interrupting me during an objection and why is this okay from the court's perspective?".
Tirosh replied: "Don't yell at me.".
Judge Rivka Friedman Feldman intervened and warned Haddad: "Sir, tone it down.".
Haddad responded sarcastically: "It's clear that we're wrong about that too.".
