IDF forces last night (Sunday), relying on intelligence information and using a sniper, killed the commander of the Rafah East Battalion, Muhammad Bouab, and his deputy, Ismail Abu Labda, who led one of the terrorist forces that infiltrated Israel on the morning of the massacre on October 7. This was reported by Channel 14's military correspondent, Hillel Biton Rosen.

Alongside the two was another company commander and a security guard.

Last week, the IDF strongly attacked the underground compound where 24 terrorists were located, who are believed to be dead.

Four terrorists escaped from the tunnel during the attack, including the battalion commander and his deputy. IDF forces carried out several operations in the Rafah area to isolate them, and that night, immediately upon identification, a Zik aircraft was targeted by fighters on the ground and successfully eliminated them all.

At the same time, the campaign against the terrorists entrenched in the terror tunnels in the Rafah area continues with great intensity.

In the past month, over 44 terrorists were eliminated in various operations by the forces.
