""On Mount Zion there will be deliverance and holiness": Out of deep responsibility for the fate of the Torah world and the need to ensure the continued existence, stability, and growth of the Ponivez Yeshiva – the "Mother of Yeshivahs", the establishment of a special headquarters body was announced: the "Rescue Committee".
This unique body was established with the blessing and direct guidance of the great rabbis and rabbis of Israel, Shlita. The committee will be headed by rabbis and senior public figures, who were appointed as special "rabbinical envoys," with the aim of engaging exclusively and completely in ensuring the flourishing, existence, and re-establishment of the yeshiva.
'The 'Rescue Committee' will work to coordinate all the efforts now required to ensure the framework for learning, purification, and the spiritual and physical future of the hundreds of yeshiva students and its important abbots, and will also work to continue the glorious path of holiness that the yeshiva heads left us for their generations, may God bless them.
The committee's first and most significant step, decided upon at the internal founding meeting, was to declare founding status and a special emergency meeting.
The conference will be held in the presence of the great rabbis and rabbis of the generation, the rabbis of the yeshiva, and thousands of yeshiva graduates from all generations, who will come to strengthen the hands of the hundreds of young men and young women of the yeshiva.
