After the caravan collapsed this morning at an educational institution in Beit Shemesh: Yaakov Wider, a member of the Bnei Brak City Council and chairman of the Likud faction, contacted Mayor Hanoch Seibert, with an urgent demand to receive complete data on all educational institutions operating in temporary structures in the city - and on the dates of the safety inspections that were carried out on them.

Wider: "This morning's disaster is a serious warning sign. Bnei Brak is packed with temporary educational buildings - and we must not wait for a disaster, God forbid.".

In his appeal, Vider demanded to receive a full and up-to-date breakdown of all institutions that do not operate in permanent buildings, the date of the most recent quality inspections that were conducted, as well as action plans and timetables for resolving and improving the learning conditions.

Vider added that this is an urban emergency that requires immediate attention, full responsibility, and public transparency toward parents and students: "Thousands of children in Bnei Brak are studying in temporary structures without professional and safety certainty. The lives of the children take precedence over any other consideration, and I expect that the full data will be presented, as required by law.".
