The Hamas terrorist organization has located the body of the kidnapped Lieutenant Hadar Goldin in Rafah, Al Jazeera reported today (Saturday) citing a source in the leadership of Hamas' military wing.

According to the source, six dead terrorists were also found at the scene.

However, many hours after Al Jazeera reported that the kidnapped body had been located, it is still unclear whether and when the murderous terrorist organization intends to return Goldin's body to Israel.

Initially, Israel estimated that Goldin's body would be returned as early as Saturday night, but Hamas did not give any indication that it actually intended to return the coffin of a fallen soldier to Israel.

There is growing belief within the security establishment that the kidnapped man found in Rafah is indeed Goldin. However, identification will only be certain when the body of the kidnapped man is brought to Israel.

According to a report in Kan News, the IDF has been searching for Hadar Goldin in the tunnel in question for nearly a year, in an activity that has become daily - including in recent days.

As part of the psychological warfare, the murderous terrorist organization released a video on the Al-Jazeera network in which Hamas terrorists are seen alongside Red Cross teams arriving at the tunnel and removing a bag that supposedly contains a body. Before the bag is taken from the tunnel, the terrorists stick a sticker on it with the inscription in Hebrew, English, and Arabic: "Hadar Goldin.".

Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir arrived at the Goldin family home on Saturday night to give them all the information the IDF has at this time, amid the growing belief in Israel that Hamas has located their loved one.

The Goldin family responded to the reports: "The entire country is waiting for Hadar to be returned to us. This is a mission that we must and can fulfill for the sake of all of us. The Chief of Staff arrived at the end of Shabbat to update us on the tremendous efforts to free the kidnapped, and we salute everyone involved in this national mission. We are waiting for news of official confirmation that Hadar has returned to Israel. We are not giving up on anyone in the country, ever. We ask that you remain calm. Until it is final, it is not over.".

Zamir said on Tuesday in the political-security cabinet that there is no deal for the approximately 200 terrorists, "It's either surrender or we will eliminate them. If they surrender, we will take them in their underwear to a Yemeni field to interrogate them.".

The Chief of Staff also recommended in the discussion not to move to the next stage of the agreement with Hamas before all the dead hostages are returned. "I also recommend not allowing rehabilitation before denuclearization.".

Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, an officer in the Givati Patrol, was killed on August 1, 2014. On that day, a ceasefire began between the IDF and Hamas, which was intended to last 72 hours.

The ceasefire was soon violated by Hamas. A force under the command of the patrol commander, Major Benya Sarel, which included Officer Goldin and a number of soldiers, continued its tunnel detection operations in the Rafah area.

At 9:05, the force was attacked by terrorists who emerged from a tunnel. They killed Benya Sarel, Sergeant Liel Gideoni and Lieutenant Hadar Goldin. They kidnapped Goldin into the terror tunnel.

Lieutenant Itai Pond and Second Lieutenant Matan Horesh led a pursuit of a terrorist cell inside the tunnel. During the pursuit, items were discovered that later made it possible to determine Goldin's death.

Goldin grew up in Kfar Saba. He was 23 years old and engaged to Edna Saroussi.

He is survived by his parents Simcha and Leah, a twin brother, and a sister.
