In a targeted operation by fighters from the Gideonim Unit 33 of Lahav 433, in cooperation with the Binyamin Brigade and the Shin Bet, a wanted terrorist suspected of carrying out shooting attacks against communities and security forces was arrested in Ramallah.
The activity took place in broad daylight, in the heart of the wholesale market in Ramallah, a crowded and operationally complex area.
According to the police statement, the suspect was located while staying at a local bar.
During the arrest attempt, the suspect tried to resist and cause a commotion at the scene, but the force responded quickly, shooting at him and wounding him in the leg.
After being neutralized, the suspect received initial medical treatment at the scene and was then transferred to security forces for questioning.
There were no casualties among the fighters.
