Captivity survivors Bar Kuperstein and Segev Kalfon responded this evening (Wednesday) to the elimination of terrorist Zaid Zaki Abd al-Hadi Akel, who was responsible for holding them captive, along with four other Israeli hostages.

""He was not 'another terrorist' - he was the gateway to hell," wrote Kalfon. The survivor of the captivity added and said: "In this terrorist's house was the shaft where we were lowered into the tunnel, the place where our life above ground ended and we reached an abyss that a person is not supposed to know. There he watched and encouraged the 'game of life' - they stood around us, counted us, put a Kalashnikov through us, opened a window - and asked us to decide which of the three of us would be executed. Today, we are here under private supervision.

""Some will say, 'He received his punishment,' but truth and justice must continue to be pursued. No bullet that eliminates a terrorist closes any story.".

Bar Kuperstein published a post on the social network Instagram, in which he has a picture of himself celebrating his return, wrapped in an Israeli flag, and below him is a picture of the despicable terrorist with a red "X" and the word "troll.".

Cooperstein said: "This is it. Today they trolled the 'troll'. That's what we called him. This evil one. The terrorist who was directly responsible for our captivity, for the captivity of the six - was eliminated. I, thank God, have come out of hell - the 'troll' was sent directly to hell. Happy to be back home. Happy a little more today that this evil one is no longer here. With God's help, soon all the evil ones will be with us.".

The terrorist was eliminated in a joint attack by the IDF and the Shin Bet, led by the Southern Command and through the Air Force, on October 29. Akel was eliminated as part of the IDF strikes in response to Hamas' blatant violations last week.

He was responsible for the detention of Bar Kuperstein, Ohad Ben Ami, Maxim Harkin, Elkana Bohbot, Segev Kalfon and Yosef-Chaim Ohana.
