Degel Hatorah chairman, MK Moshe Gafni, told Lieberman in the Knesset plenary: "Hypocrite! You were defense minister, not only did you not work to mobilize everyone, but you helped us to exempt the yeshiva students. You are a hypocrite!""
Members of the Yesh Atid party supported the bill. Senior political commentator Amit Segal quipped: "One of them is Ram Ben Barak, who just recently explained how dangerous it is to deny the right to vote.".
