After the 'Rally of the Million' in Jerusalem: Yonatan Yitzhakian, 21, a student at the 'Tzemach Yisrael' yeshiva in Tel Aviv, was arrested last night (Tuesday) at his home in Holon by the military police.

The yeshiva student has been defined by the military authorities as a 'deserter' for about two years.

Attorney Menachem Stauber, who represents him, said that a hearing on his case is expected at the military court in Beit Lid.

Shilo Fried, a Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth reporter for Haredi affairs, tweeted: "Tonight a yeshiva student from Tel Aviv was arrested and no one is organizing the million-strong rally. The reason is not because he is Mizrahi - Ariel Shamai is not Ashkenazi either - but that he does not study at the Sorotzkin yeshiva, his rabbi does not have 15,000 students to take to the streets, which led the entire Haredi leadership to join the protest so that it would not appear that someone took a step alone without their approval.".
