Jerusalem District police arrested a 17-year-old city resident on suspicion of committing serious offenses against two girls in a bathroom stall at a synagogue in Jerusalem.
The arrest was made after officers from the Lev Habira police station in Jerusalem opened an investigation about a week ago, following a report received by the police regarding suspicion of serious offenses against two girls under the age of 14.
The investigation into the case revealed that, according to the suspicion, the suspect boy led the girls to a bathroom stall in a synagogue in central Jerusalem, where he carried out his plot against them.
During a hearing on extending his detention in court, his detention was extended until tomorrow.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
