Crime in Bnei Brak: Suspect arrested for hiding 22 kg of cannabis in a storage room in a residential building

Crime in the city of Torah and Hasidism: Police officers and inspectors from the Bnei Brak Municipal Policing Unit arrested a suspect who hid approximately 22 kilograms of a substance suspected of being a cannabis drug in a warehouse in a residential building in Bnei Brak.

The arrest was made after the police headquarters received a report yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon about several boxes containing substances suspected of being drugs in a warehouse on Nehemia Street in Bnei Brak.

Police officers and inspectors from the municipal police unit arrived at the scene and, upon inspection, seized the four crates containing the suspected cannabis drug, weighing a total of approximately 22 kilograms.

The police began the task of collecting findings and evidence, during which they identified the suspect.

The police located and arrested the suspect, 43 years old, a resident of Bnei Brak - and he was brought for questioning at the police station, at the end of which he was imprisoned.

This morning, the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court extended his detention until tomorrow.
