Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu arrived this evening (Tuesday) at the Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva to meet the returned abductees - Avitan Or, Alon Ohel, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Avitar David and Eitan Mor.
The Prime Minister: "At the end of the holiday, I came with my wife Sarah to the hospital to meet the precious boys who had returned home. During these two years, my wife and I met with their families many times. We cried with them, hugged them, and I promised them: We will bring them back.".
""There wasn't a day that I didn't receive reports on their condition, what we knew, what I wanted to know. I promised to bring them back and we brought them back. And now, after they are embraced by their families, we will embrace them too.".
""I want to thank Gal Hirsch who did a fantastic job in caring for the families and in contact with the kidnapped, truly, a heartfelt thank you to Gal. And I want to say about the fallen - with the same determination, the same responsibility, the same seriousness, we are handling the return of the fallen. We will spare no effort and no means to return them.".
""I believe that with this method, we will first receive news about the return of additional hostages, hopefully in the coming hours. But we are determined to return everyone.".
The hostages told Netanyahu about their difficult experiences in captivity, during which they also learned Arabic.
Eviatar David said: "Thank you for your efforts to bring us back." Avitan Or noted that he did not vote for Netanyahu - "But I am glad that you are the prime minister and that you did the right thing.".
