The multitudes of the House of Israel are going to rejoice with all their hearts and dance with all their might in the laps of Simchat Torah.
Surprisingly, the main joy in the month of Tishrei is not in sitting in the Sukkah or in taking the four kinds that are required by the Torah, but rather during the Hakafot, which are merely a custom. The great joy of the month of Tishrei and the time of our joy drains entirely into the moments of the last holiday of Sukkot, whose name, as we all call it - Simchat Torah, has no origin in the Bible or the Talmud, but only in the Jewish custom of celebrating at that time the end of the Torah reading cycle.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Jacobson in a special lesson for the holiday on the joy that brings to light the depth of the connection and love between every Jew and God and which has the power to strengthen our connection with our Father in Heaven throughout the entire year.
