Over 1,500 worshippers came to Gan Meir in Tel Aviv during Yom Kippur for prayers organized by the Rosh Yehudi organization.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir ordered at the beginning of the fast to increase police forces on site, with the aim of ensuring that prayers were held without disturbances - and indeed, order was maintained throughout the event.

Chairman of "Rosh Yehudi," Israel Zeira, said at the end of the fast: "There was an electrifying atmosphere of holiness. Even though the place is less central than Dizengoff Square, Tel Aviv residents came in droves and prayed.".
