Amit Segal, Channel 12's political commentator, estimated this evening (Monday) that if Trump's '21-point' plan is completed, the elections in Israel will be brought forward to February-March 2026.

On his Telegram account, Segal wrote: "If the agreement is reached, we can prepare for the elections in February or March.".

He added and noted this evening: "The Trump plan fulfills all of Israel's war goals, but not all of the goals of the Israeli right.".

Segal also noted who welcomed the outline - Yair Lapid, Yair Golan, Benny Gantz, Gadi Eisenkot, and who did not express an opinion -
Naftali Bennett, Avigdor Lieberman.

Earlier, the White House officially unveiled Trump's 21-point plan, which includes the return of all hostages within 72 hours, and the release of thousands of terrorists and Gazans, including terrorists sentenced to life imprisonment.

The families of the abductees from the Tikva Forum responded to the outline:

""The families of the abductees from the Tikva Forum welcome the joint statements by United States President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The statements are consistent with our principles and commitment: the return of all the abductees in one fell swoop, the living will return to their families, and the fallen will be returned to be buried in Israel.

In the proposed agreement, the Hamas regime will be defeated and will no longer pose a threat to the citizens and residents of Israel. We believe this is the only path that will prevent further kidnappings in the future and ensure the release of our loved ones.

In these moments, our hearts are with the families of the bereaved, the wounded, and the heroic fighters, whose steadfastness and dedication created the conditions for the agreement. However, the people of Israel will continue to stand guard: as long as the goals are not fully achieved, we will not be able to lay down our arms.

If Hamas violates its commitments, we demand that the United States and the Prime Minister fulfill their promise from yesterday to continue the military operation until the task is completed and all Hamas capabilities are destroyed.

"On the two-year anniversary of this just war, we remember the fallen, who were a moral compass for the entire people of Israel. We will continue to embrace the wounded, strengthen the families, and support the fighters until all those kidnapped are returned home.""

President of the State, Yitzhak Herzog, responded to the outline:

""The plan presented tonight by President Trump provides real hope for the release of the hostages, for ensuring security for the residents of Israel, for ending the war and changing the reality in the Gaza Strip and the Middle East towards opening a new page of regional and international partnership. I welcome the plan and call for its rapid implementation to be promoted.".

I thank President Trump for his leadership and his firm and assertive stand alongside the State of Israel, I congratulate Prime Minister Netanyahu for this important progress, and I thank all the countries, individuals, and entities that are taking part in the process and bringing hope to the peoples of the region. On behalf of the entire people of Israel, I salute the courage of our fighters who, through their heroism, have laid the foundation for the return of all those kidnapped home and for moving toward the end of the war and "the day after.".

"Now the entire world must set a clear and immediate condition - the terrorist organization Hamas must agree to the Trump plan and enable a future of hope for the peoples of the region.""

Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri responded: "Let his gates be filled with thanksgiving, his courts with glory.".

Out of gratitude to God for the success of the important summit at the White House, I congratulate US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who are working in close cooperation to strengthen Israel's security.
I express full support for the President's plan, and pray that already during the upcoming Sukkot holiday, we will be able to see our kidnapped sons return to the bosom of their families, the reserve soldiers return to their homes - and that we will all be able to enjoy a true "Sukkot of Peace.".
