Great joy: Rabbi Sholem Shtisel, manager of the Yeshiva Books store in the Beit Israel neighborhood of Jerusalem, and his wife Brindle are embracing their first son in a happy and successful time - after 28 years of marriage.

The birth occurred about 9 months after a friend of Rabbi Sholem, a descendant of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, offered a particularly moving prayer for him on his deathbed in New York.

Rabbi Sholem, who is a member of the Hasidic order of the Avraham Yitzhak, is a very well-known figure in Davos, Switzerland, where he serves as the collector of the central synagogue during the summer months.

To the Haredim 10, Father Ha-Osher says: "There were many prayers over the years, and in the end, thank God, it happened. Thank Him for being good, for His grace endures forever.".

Rabbi Sholem emphasized: "There were many prayers, many blessings, many charms, but what helped the most was the simple and strong faith in the Creator of the world. Our words were always 'There is none other besides Him, besides You, the Lord, blessed be His name.'".
