Evacuated after CPR: Two-year-old seriously injured in car crash on Rosh Hashanah morning in Bnei Brak

A two-year-old toddler was injured today (Wednesday), on the morning of the holiday, in a serious accident on Shlomo Ben Yosef Street in Bnei Brak.

Rescue forces called to the scene performed advanced CPR on the toddler, who suffered from multiple systemic injuries, and after, by the grace of God, his heart started beating again, he was evacuated in serious condition to continue receiving treatment at the Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva.

Holiday watchmen, rescue paramedic David Labi, and rescue medic Moshe Ashkenazi: "When we arrived at the scene of the traffic accident, we found a pedestrian, a two-year-old boy lying on the road, unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, with multiple systemic injuries, after being hit by a vehicle.

""Together with rescue and MDA paramedics and medics, we performed advanced CPR on him, which included massages and providing respiratory assistance, and after, by the grace of God, his heart started beating again, he was evacuated in serious condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.".

Akiva Kaufman and Shlomo Katzin, United Hatzalah paramedics and holiday watchmen: "This is a two-year-old pedestrian who, according to passersby, was hit by a vehicle. We performed CPR on him at the scene and after his pulse returned, he was taken to Beilinson Hospital, where his condition is described as serious and unstable.".

His name for prayer: Chaim Yoel ben Elisheva for complete recovery.
