District Court Judge Amit Michels accepted the police appeal this evening (Thursday) and ruled that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's advisor, Yonatan Urich, will be removed from his office for 60 days.

In addition, the judge imposed a prohibition on Urich from engaging in any occupation for the same period, a complete prohibition on contacting anyone involved in the affair, as well as a prohibition on leaving the country for a limited period.

In doing so, Judge Michels effectively overturned Judge Menachem Mizrahi's decision.

The court noted that the investigation materials collected so far establish a reasonable suspicion that Urich may continue to engage in matters related to the Prime Minister's Office, and therefore the restrictions are proportionate and necessary to ensure the continuation of the investigation in a proper manner.

The terms came into effect on September 10, 2025 and will apply for 60 days.
