
A drone launched by the Houthis from Yemen set off alarms in the city of Eilat - and crashed at the entrance to one of the hotels.
No injuries were reported. Ramon Airport airspace was closed.
The police said: "Eilat Regional Police forces were called upon receiving a report of a rocket falling in the city of Eilat, and are isolating the scene of the fall.".
The police later updated: "Eilat Regional Police forces are currently working in cooperation with rescue and security forces in the Eilat city area at the scene of the UAV crash.".
""As a result of the fall, damage was caused to the scene without any reports of casualties.".

After assessing the situation at the scene of the crash, Eilat Mayor Eli Lankri, together with Eilat Regional Police Commander - Chief of Staff Alon Kalfon and the commanders of the security, emergency and rescue forces, it was decided to postpone the Selichot performance scheduled to take place tonight on Palm Beach, even though there is no change in the Home Front Command's defense policy.
