Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir visited Palmachim Air Force Base today (Wednesday) with Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar, Palmachim Base Commander Brigadier General Y., and other commanders.
The Chief of Staff flew in the 124th Squadron and met the air crews, technicians, air defense fighters, and 7th Wing fighters.
The Chief of Staff also visited the drone operators' vehicle and, together with them, carried out an assistance mission for the forces currently maneuvering in Gaza City.
The Chief of Staff expressed his appreciation to all Air Force personnel, air crews, operators, fighters, technicians and administrative personnel who have been working in an unprecedented manner since the beginning of the war, in defense and offense, in theaters near and far.
"The defense and attack you provide from the beginning of the war with fire and fire to rescue the ground forces - saves lives. With the entry of the forces into Gaza City, you serve as an extra pair of eyes for the fighters on the ground - this is the key to their success," he said.
