Starts stuttering: After opposition chairman Yair Lapid summoned all the leaders of the left-wing parties and the 'Change Bloc' to a first meeting, Naftali Bennett announced that he would be absent - due to a memorial service for his late father that would be held that evening.
Benny Gantz's entourage is also examining whether he will be able to take part in the meeting due to schedule constraints.
Earlier, Lapid's office announced that "a meeting of the leaders of the Change Bloc parties will take place next week, Saturday. Naftali Bennett, Gadi Eisenkot, Avigdor Lieberman, Benny Gantz and Yair Golan have been invited to the meeting.".
MK Mansur Abbas of Ra'am, a partner from the days of the 'Change Bloc' government, and Yoaz Hendel, who is founding a reservist party, were not invited.
