The Telegram page 'Abu Ali Express' announced this morning (Thursday) that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to be interviewed by the channel this evening.
This is after Netanyahu was interviewed by several media outlets - in Israel and around the world - but avoided being interviewed by media outlets hostile to him - Channel 11, Channel 12 and Channel 13.
Media personality Ben Caspit, one of the hosts of "Meet the Press" on Channel 12, exploded with admiration for the new king.
He wrote on his X account: "It's not funny anymore. It's even a little scary. Not long ago, he was interviewed for a far-right podcast in the US, by two drunks who later admitted that they had been drinking quite a bit before the interview.
""Then, a few days ago, he was interviewed by some remote podcast, which took his slip of the tongue on the subject of the Armenian Holocaust (anyone who watched the interview knows that it was an unplanned, irresponsible, and ill-considered slip of the tongue) and gave it a title: 'Netanyahu Admits Genocide!' That was the title of the podcast. They wanted traffic, and they got it. They just forgot to mention that he admits to the Armenian genocide, I didn't dare. And we haven't even talked about the Turkish reaction yet.".
""Now he is being interviewed by an interviewer whose identity is confidential," Caspit attacked. "On the Telegram channel. What won't he do to avoid appearing in front of real cameras, real interviewers, real questions.
""Reminder: In a journalistic interview, interviewers are supposed to ask the interviewee difficult, pointed, and penetrating questions." However, he emphasized: "This is not to disparage the Abu Ali Express channel, etc.".
It should be noted that Netanyahu refrains from giving interviews to Israeli channels that are hostile to him because, according to his office, they do not allow him to complete sentences and treat him with basic disrespect.
