
A two-year-old toddler was taken to the hospital this morning (Thursday) with a pulse, after choking while eating at a daycare center in Bnei Brak - and underwent successful resuscitation.
Rescue forces who were called to the daycare following a report of a toddler who was choking performed advanced CPR on her, and after, by the grace of God, her pulse returned, she was evacuated to continue receiving treatment at Schneider Hospital in Petah Tikva, in serious condition.
Rescue Paramedic Eliyahu Simhon and rescuers David Gross and Yaakov Tehrani: "When we arrived at the daycare, we found a two-year-old girl unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, after she lost consciousness while eating a jelly candy.
""Together with rescue and MDA paramedics and paramedics, we performed advanced CPR on her, which included massages and providing respiratory assistance, and after, by the grace of God, her heart started beating again, she was evacuated for further treatment in the shock room at Schneider Hospital in Petah Tikva.".
Menachem Shechter and Shmuli Wolfson, United Hatzalah paramedics: "When we arrived at the scene, we were told that the toddler had choked while eating candy. We provided her with initial medical treatment, providing respiratory assistance and performing life-saving CPR, and by the grace of God, her pulse and breathing returned and she began to breathe on her own. She was then evacuated in an intensive care unit for further tests and treatment at the hospital in serious condition.".
