Tomorrow (Sunday), train traffic south of Tel Aviv will resume and trains will reach Tel Aviv HaHagana station. On Monday, all train lines will return to operation.

After Transport Minister Miri Regev, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Transport and Israel Railways, announced on Thursday the gradual return of train traffic, over the past few days, railway crews have been working to advance the work to repair the serious malfunction that affected train traffic on the Israel Railways line and led to disruptions.

Starting tomorrow, Sunday, 24.8.25:

  • Trains from the south will arrive at Tel Aviv HaHagana station.
  • Trains on the Beit Shemesh-Netanya line will end their journey at Lod station.
  • The Kfar Chabad and Lod Ganei Aviv stations will reopen.

Starting Monday, August 25, 2025, train traffic will return in full, with several delays due to the addition of intermediate stations:

  • Tel Aviv Hashalom Station will open for service, and train traffic in the Tel Aviv area and across the country will return to normal.
  • The Ashkelon - Binyamina line will temporarily end at Herzliya Station (instead of Nimina Station). Passengers on this line whose destination is north of Herzliya Station will change trains at this station and continue to their destination.
  • No direct trains (without changing) will be operated on the Karmiel-Beer Sheva line. Travel between stations will be possible by changing trains. Direct trains are expected to resume operation on 1.9.25.
  • On Monday, there may be slight delays in schedules, due to additional intermediate stops for some trains.

By 1.9.25, train traffic will return to full service.
