
Four IDF soldiers were slightly injured this morning (Wednesday) by the explosion of an old Syrian regime weapon in the Syrian Mount Hermon area.
This is an activity that began last night, in which IDF forces set out to locate weapons and conduct searches deep in the Syrian villages of Mount Hermon, several kilometers from Israeli territory.
During the operation, an old Syrian grenade exploded, injuring four fighters who were safely evacuated to receive medical treatment at Ziv Hospital in Safed.
The hospital updated that the fighters were admitted to the shock room and treated in the emergency department at Ziv Medical Center.
As part of the treatment, they underwent comprehensive tests and imaging, and after medical supervision, they were all released in stable condition.
The IDF stated that the incident is being fully investigated, and that the families of the fighters have been notified.
