United States President Donald Trump gave an interview to conservative radio host Mark Levin on "The Mark Levin Show" last night (Wednesday), during which he spoke about his ties with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and their joint activities during the recent security events.
During the interview, Trump praised Netanyahu for his efforts to return the hostages in Gaza, saying: "He's a good man, who fought there.".
He said that although there are elements who oppose the prime minister and even want to see him behind bars, "he is a war hero.".
Trump later referred to the security cooperation between him and Netanyahu: "He's a war hero, because we worked together. He's a war hero. I guess I am one too.".
Trump mentioned the bombing of the nuclear reactor in Iran during the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, and said: "Nobody cares. So do I. I sent those planes.".
The president added that he believes he has not received the proper credit for carrying out the attacks during his time, as well as for his recent attempts to promote political solutions around the world.
